Bojing Moon White VillaBojing Moon White VillaBojing Moon White Villa is an exemplary residential architectural project located in Ningbo, China, that masterfully integrates traditional Chinese design principles with contemporary spatial aesthetics. This sophisticated 1,050-square-meter villa, designed by Caifu Li, demonstrates an innovative approach to modern living spaces through its thoughtful incorporation of overlook elements, a distinctive feature in traditional Chinese architecture that enables visual communication across different floors and spaces. The three-story structure with basement showcases an exceptional harmony between functionality and artistic expression, employing various architectural techniques including view responding, view borrowing, view framing, extension, vertical slit, and structural sinking. The design philosophy emphasizes the seamless integration of nature and humanity, utilizing materials such as stone, wood finishes, and sophisticated glass installations, including frameless glass rails and curved steel glass handrails. The project, completed between 2017 and 2020, earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its excellence in spatial organization and innovative design solutions. The villa's interior spaces are meticulously crafted to enhance the residents' living experience through careful consideration of natural light, ventilation, and landscape integration, while maintaining a strong focus on functionality and maintainability. The architectural composition creates a rhythmic flow throughout the structure, establishing a harmonious relationship between interior and exterior spaces that enriches the visual perception and daily living experience of its occupants.
