Cloud Residence Sales Center is an innovative architectural and interior design project completed in 2020, exemplifying a harmonious blend of historical cultural elements and contemporary design aesthetics. Located in Xiangyang, a historically significant Chinese city, this 800-square-meter space transforms the ancient Wu Yin musical tradition into a sophisticated three-dimensional experience through its distinctive curved surface modeling and rhythmic linear elements. The design concept revolves around the theme rhythm of the ancient city, where vertical metal lines serve as the foundational aesthetic element, complemented by ground stone treatments that together evoke the charm of ancient urban landscapes. The space features a masterful integration of GRG (Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum) material finished with glossy art paint, creating subtle gradations of light and shadow throughout the interior. The visitor journey begins at an entrance adorned with a landscape pool, leading through carefully orchestrated spaces that culminate in a dramatic sand table area, where special-shaped decorative elements symbolize falling beads. The project's sophisticated design approach earned it the Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, recognizing its excellence in spatial innovation and cultural integration. The design successfully balances functional requirements with artistic expression, featuring contrasting color schemes, innovative material applications, and thoughtfully curated furniture pieces with curved surfaces that enhance the overall spatial experience.
