Top Player Residence

Top Player Residence is an innovative residential interior design project completed in 2020, showcasing a contemporary interpretation of luxury living spaces tailored for Generation Z inhabitants in Shenzhen, China. Designed by Zhi Duan and Shi Rong Liang, this 314-square-meter residence challenges conventional living patterns through its distinctive blend of artistic expression and urban sophistication. The design philosophy centers on creating a dynamic, playful atmosphere while maintaining refined elegance, achieved through the thoughtful integration of curved architectural elements that soften the spatial geometry and create engaging visual contrasts. The interior scheme employs premium natural materials, including cotton, linen, and wool textiles, carefully selected for their tactile qualities and environmental sustainability. Notable features include a sophisticated entrance area featuring a lucite background wall with grille details, creating an art gallery-like ambiance that effectively separates meeting and resting zones.
