Deer Academy Office

Deer Academy Office is an innovative interior design project spanning 2000 square meters that seamlessly integrates traditional Oriental philosophical aesthetics with contemporary intelligent technology, located in the academically rich Qingshan Lake District of Nanchang. The design concept revolves around creating an atmosphere library, establishing a peaceful indoor environment that transforms the typically austere commercial space into a welcoming sanctuary for relaxation and intellectual pursuit. Drawing inspiration from the historic Bailudong Academy's humanistic essence, the project masterfully incorporates modern technological elements while maintaining a serene atmosphere through sophisticated spatial planning techniques including contrast, openness, flow, and mutual integration. The interior design breaks traditional spatial conventions by implementing an innovative sequence of spaces that adapt flexibly to user needs, enhanced by intelligent technological features that elevate the overall user experience. The project, completed in March 2020, exemplifies a harmonious balance between cultural heritage and modern functionality, creating an ideal environment for both contemplation and contemporary workplace requirements. The design's exceptional merit was recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its outstanding contribution to innovative spatial design and its successful integration of traditional and modern elements. The project stands as a testament to the possibility of creating spaces that honor academic tradition while embracing technological advancement, offering a unique solution that addresses the contemporary need for culturally enriched, technologically enabled environments.
