Sunrise Blue Residential Space

Sunrise Blue Residential Space is an innovative residential interior design project completed in 2020, located in Taipei, Taiwan, that masterfully integrates smart storage solutions with contemporary aesthetics to create a family-centric living environment. The design, conceived by Shih Hsuan Chen, demonstrates exceptional spatial planning through its sophisticated mix-and-match aesthetics and intelligent storage implementations within a 150-square-foot area. The project's conceptual foundation draws inspiration from parental love and family interaction, manifesting in thoughtfully designed spaces that facilitate meaningful connections between parents and children. Notable features include a versatile rotating table that transforms from a dining area accommodating six or more people to a casual bar setting, hexagonal brick detailing in the vestibule, and a distinctive cultured stone vista wall. The design incorporates macaroon-toned color blocks in the children's rooms, creating imaginative geometric patterns that serve as artistic focal points. Environmental consciousness and family well-being are prioritized through the selection of low-formaldehyde building materials and the implementation of rounded edges for safety. The project, which earned an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2021, showcases innovative solutions for maximizing space utility while maintaining aesthetic harmony through special metal hardware, hidden cabinet doors, and multifunctional furniture arrangements. The integration of smart home technology further enhances the living experience, creating a sophisticated yet comfortable environment that balances modern luxury with practical functionality.
