The North Teaching Cluster Of Zjuic SchoolThe North Teaching Cluster Of Zjuic SchoolThe North Teaching Cluster of Zjuic School is a significant architectural complex that serves as a central educational hub, encompassing 53,000 square meters and comprising eight interconnected buildings including an auditorium, lecture halls, public teaching facilities, business school, administration building, and multi-functional hall. Located along a primary campus axis, this architectural ensemble exemplifies a harmonious fusion of Eastern and Western design principles, featuring distinctive red brick facades enhanced with modern elements such as glass curtain walls, steel-structured corridors, and metal roofing. The complex's design philosophy is anchored in the concept of Round Auditorium, Open Courtyards & Alleys, where the circular auditorium serves as the core element with symmetrically arranged buildings on either side, all interconnected through floating platforms and corridors. The design incorporates sophisticated architectural elements including Chinese-style brick patterns, wooden semi-pavilion stages, and glass arch printings, creating a seamless blend of classical and contemporary aesthetics. The spatial organization enhances campus connectivity through strategically placed nodes, including a front square, central platform, lakeside leisure landscape, and arched corridors, effectively promoting interaction between various functional areas. This architectural achievement, recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category, demonstrates exceptional innovation in educational facility design through its integration of public spaces, cultural elements, and modern architectural solutions, while maintaining strong connections to both traditional Chinese architectural heritage and contemporary international design principles.
