No Restriction Residential HouseNo Restriction Residential HouseNo Restriction Residential House is an innovative residential interior design project that exemplifies adaptable living spaces through thoughtful spatial planning and multifunctional design elements. Created by Chinese designer Yu Fei, this architectural intervention seamlessly integrates traditional Asian design elements with contemporary living requirements, featuring a distinctive tea room with tatami structure that can transform into a guest bedroom when needed. The design's conceptual framework draws inspiration from the principle of 'box within box' architecture, where a smaller, independent volume is artfully inserted into a larger living space. This elevated tea room is masterfully delineated through strategic upper and lower light troughs, creating a space that maintains independence while remaining connected to the home's overall flow. The project, completed in March 2020 in Fujian, demonstrates exceptional versatility in its spatial organization, incorporating a sophisticated circulation pattern that connects the living room, tea room, and living balcony in a continuous loop. The design's innovative approach to family living addresses practical, aesthetic, and environmental considerations while anticipating future spatial needs. Notable features include a two-part wooden sliding door system and thoughtful elevation changes that create subtle spatial hierarchies. The project's excellence in interior space design was recognized with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its outstanding contribution to residential architecture and its successful integration of functionality, aesthetics, and environmental consciousness.
