The Yihe Platinum Bay Sales Center ShowroomThe Yihe Platinum Bay Sales Center ShowroomThe Yihe Platinum Bay Sales Center Showroom is an exemplary architectural interior space that masterfully integrates cultural elements of Nanjing's Stone City heritage with contemporary design sensibilities. Located in the Hexi district of Nanjing, China, this 660-square-meter showroom completed in 2020 represents a significant advancement in exhibition space design, earning recognition with a Golden A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category. The design concept, themed New Era of the Stone City - Dancing Dragon and Wandering Fish, manifests through an elegant composition of premium materials including metal meshwork, rock slabs, tinted art glass, corrugated stainless steel, and artistic paper sculptures. The space features a sophisticated circulation route that enhances visitor experience through thoughtfully arranged functional divisions. Notable design elements include a piano-keyboard-inspired staircase, artistic fish sculptures, and a reception desk designed to evoke flowing water. The interior's vertical and horizontal spatial arrangement is accentuated by warm-color decorations that expand the perceived scale of the space. The project successfully overcame significant technical challenges, particularly in the implementation of super-long materials and the installation of irregular-sized glass components. The design's integration of natural light, enhanced by strategic artificial lighting, creates an atmosphere that harmoniously balances functionality with aesthetic appeal. This showroom stands as a testament to innovative interior design that breaks conventional boundaries while preserving cultural significance, demonstrating how contemporary commercial spaces can serve as cultural bridges while maintaining their primary function as sales centers.
