Grayscale 2 Residential is an award-winning interior design project that exemplifies sophisticated modern living through its masterful implementation of grayscale aesthetics and innovative space utilization. Located in Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City, this 85-square-meter residential space demonstrates exceptional design prowess through its harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetic refinement. The project, completed in August 2020, features a thoughtfully conceived open-plan layout that seamlessly integrates public and private spaces while maintaining a calm, sophisticated atmosphere through the strategic use of black, white, and grey tones. Distinguished by its innovative approach to spatial organization, the design incorporates unique elements such as a vertically arranged dining area, custom-built storage solutions, and sophisticated material combinations including imported art paints, sheet tiles, and oak-stained veneers. The living area showcases a built-in TV cabinet with dual functionality, serving as both an entertainment center and storage solution, while the kitchen island features meticulous tile lamination work that exemplifies the project's attention to detail. The design's sophisticated use of hollowing techniques, suspension elements, staggered color blocks, moru glass, and iron inserts creates a contemporary aesthetic that maximizes the available space while maintaining visual harmony.
