The Symphony of Leisure Residential is an award-winning interior design project that exemplifies sophisticated modern living through its thoughtful spatial arrangement and material selection. Located in Banqiao District, New Taipei City, this 26-ping residential space masterfully combines functionality with aesthetic refinement, featuring three bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, and a study. The design's conceptual foundation rests on creating a sense of anticipation and timelessness, achieved through the strategic placement of a striking blue firework painting at the entryway, serving as a visual prologue to the living experience. The project demonstrates exceptional spatial innovation through its reconfigured layout, where the front door location was altered and the bedroom and kitchen facades were rotated to enhance flow and eliminate corridor monotony. Notable design elements include semi-transparent titanium-plated reticular screens between spaces, creating subtle visual connections while maintaining privacy, and the sophisticated use of natural materials including stone, marble, and wood veneers that extend from floors to walls and ceilings. The color palette harmoniously blends Prussian blue and Hermes orange accents with ecological tones, while the careful integration of outdoor greenery through window views enhances the interior's organic ambiance. The project, completed in April 2021, showcases innovative storage solutions and lighting techniques that maximize the utility of compact living spaces. Designed by Shih Chang Lin and team, the project earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its excellence in spatial design, material application, and innovative residential solutions.
