Phoenix Mansion Sales Center is an exemplary architectural project that masterfully integrates contemporary design principles with traditional Chinese aesthetics, serving as both a sales center and future entrance lobby for a residential development. Located in Chengdu, this 200-square-meter structure demonstrates sophisticated spatial organization despite its modest footprint. The design philosophy centers on creating a tranquil urban retreat, featuring a distinctive entrance with a long horizontal overhang that creates an implicit transitional space. The architecture incorporates essential elements of classical Chinese garden design, reinterpreted through a modern lens, including carefully positioned courtyards adorned with bamboo on the east and west sides. The central space, characterized by its sloped white roof designed for optimal sunlight reflection, showcases an abstract geometric pattern that harmoniously blends artistic expression with cultural values. The project, completed in 2018, employs premium materials including aluminum panels, glass, and stone, with meticulous attention to detail evident in its dynamic metal art installations and thoughtfully designed veranda. The spatial arrangement facilitates seamless transitions between interior and exterior spaces through French windows, while the central courtyard incorporates traditional Chinese architectural elements such as pavilions, verandas, and bridges.
