Maitreya Oriental Magnolia Garden G4 Model HouseMaitreya Oriental Magnolia Garden G4 Model HouseMaitreya Oriental Magnolia Garden G4 Model House is an award-winning interior design project that exemplifies the evolution of contemporary urban living spaces while honoring traditional Chinese aesthetics. Located in Mile, Yunnan, this sophisticated residential model house masterfully integrates modern metropolitan refinement with the region's cultural heritage through thoughtful spatial planning and material selection. The design philosophy centers on creating a harmonious balance between urban sophistication and natural elements, achieved through the extensive use of natural materials in soft decorations and carefully curated furnishings. The interior space features a grand, light-filled public area complemented by intimate private spaces, all unified by clean lines and understated color palettes. Notable design elements include fabric soft wall coverings with embedded metal bars, natural marble flooring in the living areas, and innovative slate-covered walls in the bathrooms and kitchen. The furniture selection encompasses custom-made pieces including solid wood sofas with leather upholstery and hand-woven beds, contributing to the space's bespoke character. The project, completed in May 2021, garnered international recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its excellence in spatial innovation and cultural integration. The design's success lies in its ability to create a sophisticated living environment that seamlessly blends contemporary luxury with traditional elements, featuring expansive French doors that connect interior and exterior spaces, while maintaining functionality through well-considered placement of furnishings and decorative elements.
