Monolithic House Private VillaMonolithic House Private VillaMonolithic House Private Villa is an exemplary architectural masterpiece that redefines contemporary residential design while honoring traditional Arabic architectural elements. Located in Jeddah, this sophisticated 1540-square-meter structure, designed by Ahmed Habib, seamlessly integrates modern luxury with cultural sensitivity through its innovative composition of three main masses that create dynamic external courtyards. The villa's distinctive design, which earned a Golden A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design category, showcases a remarkable balance between indoor and outdoor spaces, featuring semi-transparent screens inspired by traditional Mashrabiya patterns that provide both privacy and environmental control. The structure encompasses multiple specialized entrances to accommodate cultural requirements for gender segregation, while its sophisticated spatial organization spans across basement, ground, first, and roof levels, each serving distinct functional purposes. Constructed using premium materials including honed travertine stone, black steel, and matt walnut wood, the villa demonstrates exceptional attention to environmental considerations through its motorized openable screen system that regulates natural light and ventilation. The project's architectural program intelligently distributes spaces across its 1000-square-meter plot, incorporating a basement housing daily living spaces, pool, and gym facilities, a ground floor dedicated to reception and dining areas, private quarters on the first floor, and a roof garden that maximizes the utilization of outdoor space. This harmonious blend of contemporary design elements with traditional Arabic architectural principles creates a sophisticated living environment that addresses both practical needs and aesthetic aspirations while maintaining cultural authenticity.
