The One Mansion Sales CenterThe One Mansion Sales CenterThe One Mansion Sales Center is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of traditional Chinese cultural elements with contemporary architectural aesthetics, completed in 2021 in Xi'an, China. This 2,000-square-meter space represents a groundbreaking reinterpretation of Chang'an style, drawing inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of the thirteen dynasties while incorporating modern design sensibilities. The center's distinctive design philosophy breaks away from conventional representations of Tang and Qin Dynasty aesthetics, instead utilizing a sophisticated combination of metal, stone, and glass to create bold linear spatial arrangements. The interior architecture features notable elements such as a three-dimensional grid-shaped chandelier in the sandbox area, which manifests the mathematical precision and rational beauty of contemporary design. The material palette thoughtfully combines warm wood veneers with galaxy grey stone, creating a balanced atmosphere that speaks to both tradition and modernity. The design draws inspiration from various cultural touchstones including national costumes, Chang'an cuisine, Tang Dynasty palace architecture, Silk Road motifs, and traditional performing arts, transforming these elements into a technologically advanced, fashion-forward spatial experience. The project, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional innovation in its approach to sustainable materials and biophilic design, incorporating abundant natural elements that promote a connection to nature while maintaining elegant sophistication through the interplay of natural wood tones and black artistic elements. The lighting design creates a poetic interplay of light and shadow, offering visitors a contemplative experience that bridges daily life with artistic expression, effectively slowing down time perception and creating an immersive environment that showcases future living scenarios.
