Oshare House SalonOshare House SalonOshare House Salon is an exemplary high-end private hairstyling establishment located in Guangzhou, China, distinguished by its sophisticated architectural design and thoughtful spatial organization within a compact 70-square-meter floor area. Conceived and executed by interior designer Minyi Zhang, this salon masterfully integrates European residential aesthetics with contemporary functionality, featuring an elegant combination of mottled green marble, nostalgic green wall paint, and refined metallic accents. The design successfully addresses the challenge of maximizing a limited space divided between two levels, incorporating essential elements such as a front desk, ten haircutting stations, two VIP spaces, a shampoo area, warehouse facilities, and a vertical elevator alongside an existing steep staircase. The interior's material palette showcases a harmonious blend of fine woods, premium marble, and precious metals, creating an atmosphere of tangible sophistication and refined elegance. The design's excellence was recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its innovative approach to space utilization and exceptional aesthetic achievement. The salon's design philosophy prioritizes customer comfort and tranquility, achieved through careful material selection and thoughtful spatial planning that draws inspiration from classic European lobby designs while maintaining a contemporary sensibility. Completed in October 2019, the project demonstrates remarkable attention to detail in its execution, from the floating soft green linen-clad systems below the ceiling to the gracefully curving forms that establish a formal yet welcoming environment.
