Industrial Dynamic Autocare Cafe is an innovative dual-purpose commercial space that seamlessly integrates an automotive service center with a contemporary coffee establishment, exemplifying a sophisticated fusion of industrial vintage aesthetics and minimalist design principles. Located in a double-volume industrial building spanning 1500 square feet, this Golden A' Design Award-winning project masterfully combines the robust character of traditional warehouses with modern architectural elements. The design features distinctive architectural elements including exposed brick walls, concrete surfaces, and metal trusses that pay homage to industrial heritage, while incorporating refined minimalist furniture and carefully curated materials to create a harmonious aesthetic balance. The space is characterized by its strategic layout, featuring a prominent car showroom at the front, complemented by a 1100-square-foot cafe positioned at the corner of the shopfront, with a mezzanine level that provides an elevated perspective of both areas. Notable design elements include black-coated mild steel arches with PVC leather seating arrangements, tall glass windows, and carefully engineered ceiling features that maximize the dramatic double-height space. The project, completed in 2020, demonstrates exceptional spatial planning that facilitates natural interaction between both businesses while maintaining distinct functional zones. The innovative design approach not only addresses practical considerations such as car turning radius and pedestrian safety but also creates an engaging environment where automotive enthusiasts can appreciate fine automobiles while enjoying premium coffee service.
