The Abode Of The Outside Temporary HouseThe Abode Of The Outside Temporary HouseThe Abode of The Outside Temporary House is an innovative architectural concept that revolutionizes traditional residential design through its dynamic and transformable structure. This 80-square-meter temporary dwelling, recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category, exemplifies a paradigm shift in spatial perception through its sophisticated system of moving elements. The design's fundamental principle revolves around the concept of architectural mobility, where the structure itself becomes an active participant in spatial definition rather than remaining a static container. Built upon a concrete platform featuring a 3x3 meter grid system, the house incorporates an advanced network of steel tracks that enable walls to rotate, slide, flow, and overturn, creating infinite spatial configurations. The structure's exterior maintains a pure geometric form of a parallelepiped, while its true innovation lies in its computer-controlled wall system, constructed from 6-centimeter-thick recycled steel panels with low environmental impact. This automated system allows for rapid transformation between states of complete enclosure and absolute openness, effectively blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces. The design's flexibility extends beyond mere spatial reconfiguration, as it accommodates various functional needs through its adaptable layout, with utilities integrated into the base platform and the potential for expansion through additional transparent or opaque modules, both vertical and horizontal, supported by external pillars when necessary. This architectural innovation, which earned recognition through the A' Design Award competition, represents a significant advancement in responsive architecture, offering a solution to contemporary challenges of spatial efficiency and adaptability while maintaining environmental consciousness through its material choices and construction methodology.
