Day One Wine PackagingDay One Wine PackagingDay One Wine Packaging is an innovative wine label design that exemplifies the artistry and precision of contemporary packaging design, paying homage to the crucial moment of harvest initiation in winemaking. The design, created by Chilean designer Ximena Ureta, masterfully captures the essence of the winemaking process through its sophisticated visual narrative that incorporates harvest scissors motifs germinating among protective flowers and vine leaves, symbolizing the delicate balance between sugar, acidity, and tannins that determines the optimal harvest timing. This sustainable wine packaging solution, which earned the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design category, demonstrates exceptional technical execution through its production on Fasson Cuvee Sable paper utilizing three special colors, offset printing, matt gold foil, stamping, and protective varnish. The design's dimensions are meticulously calculated with a Burgundy label measuring 105x114 mm and featuring a subtle 2 mm conicity per side, ensuring optimal visual presentation on the bottle. The project, completed between September 2020 and January 2021, represents a significant achievement in wine packaging design, successfully communicating the brand's commitment to sustainable practices while maintaining visual sophistication. The design's international appeal is evidenced by its presence in key markets including Korea, China, USA, Canada, Denmark, Brazil, Japan, and the UK, showcasing its universal aesthetic appeal and functional effectiveness in global wine marketing.
