Sharing Art OfficeSharing Art OfficeSharing Art Office is an innovative coworking space design that exemplifies the convergence of functionality, artistic expression, and sustainable design principles. This Silver A' Design Award-winning project, conceived by designers Fu-Chu Hsu and Hung-Wei Wu, transforms a 500-square-meter space into a dynamic environment that seamlessly integrates repurposed letter installations from a previous exhibition with modern workspace requirements. The design draws inspiration from the fluid movement patterns observed in railway stations and multicultural integration, incorporating these elements through geometric linear tensions and enframed scenery techniques. The space features distinctive architectural elements including industrious iron frames and transparent glass partitions that serve dual purposes of space delineation and natural light transmission. The innovative use of metal net plates allows for rapid space reconfiguration, while the loop layout naturally guides circulation. The workspace's versatility is enhanced through the strategic placement of simple wooden furniture and the implementation of large glass areas with minimal partitioning, enabling swift transitions between various work modes such as model-making, meetings, and collaborative projects. The design's sustainable approach is evident in its creative reuse of exhibition materials, while its minimalist aesthetic creates an artistic ambiance that promotes cross-industry dialogue and creative exchange. The integration of non-profit design organizations and product development entities within the space further enriches its collaborative potential, establishing a sustainable framework for multicultural and artistic integration. This project, recognized by the A' Design Award competition, demonstrates excellence in interior space design through its thoughtful combination of practical workspace solutions with artistic elements, creating an environment that fosters creativity, collaboration, and sustainable design practices.
