Hogoso Studio OfficeHogoso Studio OfficeHogoso Studio Office is an award-winning interior design project completed in 2020, exemplifying minimalist architectural principles through its innovative use of geometric shapes and thoughtful spatial organization. Located in Ningbo City's Yinzhou District, this 317-square-meter office space represents a significant departure from traditional office design paradigms, featuring a predominantly white color scheme punctuated by strategic color blocking inspired by Mondrian's artistic principles. The design successfully addresses the challenge of a limited storey height in what was originally a garage space by incorporating sunken areas that create dynamic leisure zones while simultaneously resolving vertical space constraints. The project's material palette consists of latex paint, epoxy floor paint, and acrylic, employed to achieve a clean, modern aesthetic that maximizes natural light penetration. The design philosophy emphasizes subtractive principles, prioritizing human experience and sensory engagement within the space. Notable features include a structured entrance that partially obscures sightlines, creating a sense of discovery, and a bar counter that integrates seamlessly with the doorway through varied elevations and contrasting color blocks. The space's open-plan layout facilitates team communication while maintaining a sophisticated aesthetic that earned it a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, recognizing its excellence in spatial innovation and functional design. The project demonstrates exceptional attention to light management, with all unnecessary visual obstacles eliminated to maximize brightness and create an atmosphere conducive to creativity and productivity.
