Created by designer Siyu Liu, this sophisticated drinking vessel draws inspiration from the ethereal cloud formations characteristic of inland hilly regions in the Northern Hemisphere and the artistic principles of negative space found in traditional landscape painting. The design employs a pioneering combination of extra-thick glass-frit and high-temperature sandblasting technology, achieving a distinctive 70% light transmittance that creates subtle refractive patterns reminiscent of floating clouds. With precise dimensions of 68mm in width, 52mm in depth, and 51mm in height, the cup's ergonomic form factor demonstrates careful consideration of human factors, incorporating streamlined contours that naturally accommodate the palm's grip and finger positioning. The production process, executed in a specialized hot glass workshop in Guangzhou, utilizes heat-resistant glass and advanced sandblasting techniques to achieve its unique visual and tactile qualities.
