IT Factory OfficeIT Factory OfficeIT Factory Office is an award-winning architectural renovation project that transforms an industrial building into a dynamic 24/7 workspace environment, spanning an impressive 4500 square meters. This innovative office design, recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, masterfully balances functionality with aesthetic appeal through its thoughtful spatial organization and strategic use of existing structural elements. The design philosophy centers on enhancing productivity while fostering a vibrant community of professionals, achieved through the careful integration of both working and recreational zones. A distinguishing feature of the space is its double-height configuration on the second floor, which effectively maximizes spatial efficiency while maintaining an open, airy atmosphere. The project's approach to renovation demonstrates exceptional sensitivity to the building's industrial heritage, preserving and highlighting original concrete structures as interior accents while incorporating modern engineering systems as design elements. The color scheme employs measured bright accents throughout the space, creating visual interest without overwhelming the environment. The renovation process, completed between September 2020 and January 2021 in Kharkiv, Ukraine, involved significant engineering challenges, particularly in updating Soviet-era infrastructure to meet contemporary standards. The design successfully transforms these technical necessities into aesthetic advantages, incorporating exposed systems and structural elements like metal knee braces into the overall design language. This thoughtful integration of old and new elements, combined with the strategic balance of functional zones and careful consideration of 24/7 operational requirements, creates a workplace environment that effectively supports both productivity and community building.
