Linkong Biomedical Park Multifunctional Offices

Linkong Biomedical Park Multifunctional Offices is a groundbreaking architectural complex that exemplifies the seamless integration of biomedical research facilities with contemporary office design, distinguished by its innovative double helix-inspired structure that pays homage to DNA, the fundamental building block of life sciences. This comprehensive development, spanning 250,133 square meters of total construction area, represents a sophisticated approach to biomedical facility design, incorporating specialized research spaces, pilot production centers, and multifunctional offices within a cohesive campus environment. The architectural composition is masterfully divided into northern and southern zones, connected by an east-west life axis featuring a sweeping curved walkway that creates a unified spatial experience. The complex encompasses various specialized facilities, including a 39,389-square-meter incubator building, high-level R&D offices, pilot plants, and general laboratories, all designed to meet rigorous technical specifications for biomedical research and production. The design demonstrates exceptional attention to practical considerations, addressing specific requirements such as floor height optimization, structural load management, and specialized air conditioning systems, while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols for hazardous materials handling and waste management. The project, completed in 2020, earned the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category, recognizing its outstanding contribution to architectural innovation and functional excellence. The development features a remarkable 200,000-square-meter central landscape belt that enhances the visual appeal and creates a harmonious environment for research and innovation, while maintaining a careful balance between built space and green areas with a plot ratio of 1.76 and a building density of 35.46%.
