Cobogos House Residential ProjectCobogos House Residential ProjectCobogos House Residential Project is an exemplary residential architectural design that masterfully integrates contemporary aesthetics with functional efficiency, completed in 2020 in Franca, Brazil. This sophisticated 645-square-meter residence, situated on a 1500-square-meter plot, showcases an innovative approach to modern living through its distinctive use of decorative concrete blocks known as Cobogos, which serve both aesthetic and practical purposes by facilitating natural ventilation. The design philosophy emphasizes pure geometrical forms and right angles, incorporating a harmonious blend of materials including reinforced concrete, aluminum slats with wood-pattern finishing, and the signature Cobogos elements that define its facade. The structure is thoughtfully arranged across two levels to accommodate the natural topography, with the main living spaces positioned to maximize views and natural light. A notable architectural feature is the impressive 18-meter-long opening that seamlessly connects interior and exterior spaces, complemented by a sophisticated sliding door system comprising 12 panels of tempered glass. The project's exterior is distinguished by an asymmetrical concrete marquee at the main entrance, while the landscaping integrates exotic elements including a Japanese cherry tree and a century-old olive tree, creating a dialogue between built form and natural elements. The outdoor leisure area features a multi-level swimming pool surrounded by tropical foliage, exemplifying the project's commitment to creating engaging living spaces. This exceptional architectural achievement was recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category in 2021, acknowledging its outstanding contribution to residential architecture through its innovative design solutions and harmonious integration of form and function.
