Noxx Bottle Design Packaging is an innovative beverage packaging design created by Swiss graphic designer and illustrator Res Zinniker, featuring a distinctive dark aesthetic that merges craft beer presentation with eerie artistic elements. The design, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, represents a significant achievement in combining visual storytelling with functional packaging design. The concept draws inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft's literary works and comic book illustrations, particularly influenced by Thomas Ott's dark artistic style, resulting in a series of haunting creatures printed directly onto black glass bottles. The packaging design utilizes sophisticated screen printing techniques on standard longneck beer bottles, measuring 226.5mm in height with a 189mm circumference, featuring a printable area of 189x79mm. Each variant in the series incorporates a unique color scheme complementing the base white printing, creating a cohesive yet distinctive product family. The design's primary objective was to capture immediate consumer attention while establishing a memorable brand presence in the competitive craft beer market. The project, developed between January 2017 and June 2018 in Zug, Switzerland, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in its execution, particularly in the intricate creature illustrations that required multiple iterations to achieve the desired uncanny atmosphere.
