Ossed Collector is an innovative agricultural harvesting solution designed to revolutionize fruit collection and autumn leaf management through a sophisticated passive collection system. This groundbreaking design, created by Slovak product designer Julius Szabo, employs natural forces such as gravity, wind, rain, and temperature variations to efficiently gather fruits and foliage before they make contact with the ground. The system features a carefully engineered network of adjustable components that can be customized to accommodate trees of varying sizes, available in three distinct dimensions: small (2.5m diameter), medium (4.5m diameter), and large (6.5m diameter). Constructed primarily from sustainable materials, the design incorporates stainless steel laser-cut base components and locally sourced hardwood elements, minimizing plastic usage while maintaining structural integrity and functionality.
