Yilong International Centre OfficeYilong International Centre OfficeYilong International Centre Office is an innovative architectural complex located in the Huangdao District of Qingdao, China, exemplifying a harmonious blend of contemporary urban design and traditional Chinese philosophical principles. The project, encompassing a total construction area of 100,071 square meters, features two distinctive towers connected by an aerial bridge, creating a vertical complex ecological closed loop through the concept of three-dimensional city planning. The architectural design draws inspiration from classical Chinese landscape painting, incorporating natural elements such as mountains, rivers, and valleys into its modern architectural language. The structure employs sophisticated engineering solutions, utilizing a frame core tube structure for the super high-rise office component and a frame-shear wall structure for the high-rise office section, while the connecting body features a multi-truss steel structure with composite flooring. The design's most notable feature is its innovative approach to urban space management, featuring retreat platforms that create a scattered mountain effect, establishing a soft connection with the natural environment. The project, which commenced in August 2019, demonstrates exceptional attention to spatial organization, dividing the plot into distinct functional zones including low and high area office entrance squares and urban commercial interfaces. The design earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category, acknowledging its contribution to innovative architectural solutions that seamlessly integrate urban functionality with natural aesthetics. The project's emphasis on creating a harmonious transition between high-density urban environments and natural landscapes represents a significant advancement in sustainable architectural design, offering a new paradigm for future urban development.
