Inter Realm Residential House

Inter Realm Residential House is an innovative residential interior design project that exemplifies sophisticated spatial storytelling through its thoughtful architectural composition and aesthetic elements. Created by designer Wang Yi Fang, this residential space masterfully employs multi-level interfaces and dynamic moving lines to generate an immersive narrative environment. The design's conceptual framework centers on the interplay between three fundamental relationships: the dialogue between environment and medium, the user's perception of the space, and the interaction between occupants and their surroundings. Notable features include titanium-plated edge details on interior walls, which create material dialogues and emphasize linear proportions, while a striking wall-to-wall black mirror cabinet in the foyer reflects and expands the public domain. The project's artistic centerpiece is a mosaic collage inspired by Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring, serving as a focal point that anchors the space's aesthetic direction. The design demonstrates exceptional attention to storage functionality, particularly in the private areas, where vertical doors and horizontal laminates create compelling linear contrasts. Completed in 2020, this residential project earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its innovative approach to spatial design and its successful integration of form and function.
