Xiwang Village Practice Project Education and Cultural Architecture is an innovative educational architectural initiative that exemplifies the integration of theoretical learning with practical construction experience. The structure employs traditional wooden joinery techniques, specifically mortise and tenon joints, showcasing both historical craftsmanship and contemporary educational innovation. This collaborative venture, led by designer Jintao Li, involved students, tutors, villagers, and construction workers working in harmony to create a meaningful architectural space. The project's implementation, spanning from October 2020 to July 2021, encompassed multiple phases including fundraising, design development, community engagement, and construction, culminating in an exhibition at a prominent cultural center.
