The Unblemished ResidenceThe Unblemished ResidenceThe Unblemished Residence is an award-winning residential interior design project that masterfully combines Japanese, modern, and simple design aesthetics while adhering to Feng Shui principles. Located in Taiwan, this 40-ping (approximately 132 square meters) dwelling features four bedrooms and three living rooms within a 3.6-meter height space, incorporating a thoughtfully designed mezzanine area to maximize spatial efficiency. The interior design scheme employs white polished tiles as the primary flooring material, complemented by laminate flooring in the staircase and mezzanine areas, creating a seamless visual flow while addressing specific functional requirements. The residence's distinctive features include a carefully positioned worship hall with specially designed iron frames and aluminum-framed sliding doors to manage smoke and air quality, demonstrating technical innovation in traditional space adaptation. The design's sophisticated lighting strategy optimizes natural daylight penetration, while the thoughtful integration of wooden elements, including a statement dining table and coordinated furnishings, introduces warmth and rustic charm to the space. The mezzanine area, featuring a 170-centimeter height clearance and white wire safety elements, showcases exceptional versatility with its transformable function from lounge to guest room through the implementation of strategic curtain systems. This project, which earned the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, exemplifies excellence in combining functional efficiency with aesthetic refinement, particularly notable for its successful integration of light-green accents within the predominantly white palette to create a vibrant yet harmonious living environment.
