Wild At Heart Temperary ExhibitionWild At Heart Temperary ExhibitionWild at Heart Temperary Exhibition is a sophisticated architectural and interior design intervention that transformed a historic industrial space into an elegant exhibition venue, demonstrating a masterful blend of neoclassical and contemporary design elements. Created by designer Idan Chiang, this temporary exhibition space, realized in April 2021, showcased an innovative approach to spatial narrative within the constraints of a heritage building. The design incorporated large glass windows, classic herringbone parquet flooring, and refined wall craft elements to create a home-like atmosphere while preserving the original structural integrity of the historic venue. The exhibition's spatial organization was carefully orchestrated through a series of aisles and arcade door frames, creating a layered experience reminiscent of a Parisian mansion. Natural sunlight was deliberately integrated into the space, departing from conventional exhibition lighting approaches, while the thoughtful integration of international furniture pieces, artworks, and botanical elements contributed to creating intimate domestic scenes. The design earned recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Event and Happening Design category, acknowledging its exceptional achievement in temporary exhibition design. The project's success lay in its ability to transform a industrial space into an sophisticated exhibition environment through careful consideration of spatial hierarchy, lighting design, and the harmonious integration of contemporary furniture with classical architectural elements, all while maintaining the building's historical significance.
