Aqua Romance Apartment DesignAqua Romance Apartment DesignAqua Romance Apartment Design is an exemplary residential interior design project that masterfully blends French neoclassical aesthetics with contemporary functionality, completed in 2022 in Taoyuan, Taiwan. This sophisticated apartment transformation, designed by Vivian Chiu and Ke Ye Wu, encompasses 204.9 square meters of interior space and 33 square meters of exterior area, featuring four balconies, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and meticulously planned social spaces. The design's distinctive approach harmonizes contrasting preferences, combining minimalist sensibilities with romantic French classical elements through a refined gray-toned color palette. Notable architectural solutions include innovative ceiling treatments that conceal air conditioning systems and structural beams, while employing strategic height variations and sloping designs to enhance spatial perception. The project's excellence is evident in its thoughtful material selection, featuring seamless tile flooring that mimics continuous marble surfaces, elegant French skirting boards, and crystal light fixtures that contribute to an atmosphere of understated luxury. The layout facilitates natural flow between public areas, with a curved TV wall serving as a grand entrance feature that guides movement and promotes social interaction. This design earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its exceptional integration of aesthetic refinement and practical functionality. The project demonstrates particular innovation in its approach to space optimization, environmental control, and the harmonious blend of classical and contemporary design elements.
