75 Degree White Residential Space75 Degree White Residential Space75 Degree White Residential Space is an innovative residential interior design project that exemplifies minimalist architectural principles through its sophisticated use of white space, which comprises 75 percent of the interior surfaces. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning project, completed in 2021 in Tainan City, Taiwan, encompasses 139 square meters of living space thoughtfully divided into public and private domains. The design's distinctive features include an ingenious arc-shaped ceiling that effectively mitigates the visual weight of structural girders while creating an enhanced sense of spaciousness. The interior architecture masterfully integrates seamless flooring with natural marble-like textures, demonstrating environmental consciousness in material selection. The spatial composition includes a living room, kitchen, dining area, master suite with bathroom and locker room, children's bedrooms, and a piano room, all unified through a refined color palette of white, complemented by gray floors and black furniture accents. The design philosophy emphasizes the interplay between light and shadow, particularly evident in how natural illumination from floor-to-ceiling windows interacts with the predominantly white surfaces, creating dynamic visual experiences throughout the day. The project's sophisticated approach to space optimization incorporates curved corners connecting public and private areas, introducing a subtle softness to the overall aesthetic while maintaining functional efficiency and visual fluidity.
