Pheather Table is an innovative minimalist furniture design that exemplifies the harmonious blend of form and functionality in contemporary furniture design. Created in 2021-2022, this versatile table spans 2200mm in length and accommodates 6-8 people comfortably, making it suitable for various settings from dining to office environments. The design's distinguishing feature lies in its unique frameless construction, which prevents warping without relying on traditional table frame supports, demonstrating significant technical innovation in furniture engineering. Crafted from Pheasantwood (Cassia siamea), a sustainable hardwood sourced from coffee farms in Vietnam, the table showcases exceptional durability and aesthetic appeal. The design incorporates meticulously rounded corners that allow the natural wood grain to flow seamlessly, creating a visually striking appearance while ensuring user safety and comfort. The trio-component design provides superior load-bearing capacity while maintaining an elegant, minimalist aesthetic. The table's dimensions (2200mm length x 860mm depth x 760mm height) are carefully calculated to optimize both functionality and spatial harmony. This design earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category, acknowledging its innovative approach to sustainable furniture design and its contribution to contemporary living spaces. The table's versatility is further enhanced by its ability to complement various chair styles and interior design schemes, from modern to vintage, while its zen-inspired aesthetic creates an uncluttered visual experience through its clean lines and thoughtful proportions.
