CP Budapest Hotel

CP Budapest Hotel is a meticulously modernized and rebranded hospitality establishment located in the vibrant Pest district of Budapest, Hungary, adjacent to the historic Nyugati train station and Westend City shopping mall. The interior design project, completed in 2021 under the creative direction of Magdalena Federowicz-Boule, represents a sophisticated fusion of urban dynamism, Hungarian wine culture, and contemporary hospitality design principles. The establishment features 230 guest rooms spread across approximately 6,900 square meters, complemented by 2,500 square meters of common areas thoughtfully designed to create engaging social spaces. The ground floor encompasses a spacious lobby with integrated reception, relaxation zones, and co-working areas, alongside the distinctively designed Axis bar with its mezzanine level that serves as an additional co-working or VIP space. The first floor houses a comprehensive conference center including a multifunctional ballroom and breakfast restaurant, while a exclusive VIP lounge occupies the sixth floor. The design philosophy carefully balances vibrant public spaces with serene private areas, employing a sophisticated color palette that transitions from lively, eclectic tones in public areas to more subdued, natural hues in guest rooms, featuring greyish and earthy tones accented with camel leather and dual shades of green. This exceptional interior design project, which garnered the Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2022, successfully creates a harmonious dialogue between interior and exterior spaces while paying homage to local architectural heritage and wine-making traditions, establishing itself as a new social hub in Budapest's urban landscape.
