Auto Motion Sales OfficeAuto Motion Sales OfficeAuto Motion Sales Office is an innovative retail interior design project that exemplifies sophisticated architectural solutions for luxury automotive sales environments. Located in Kyoto, Japan, this meticulously crafted space spans 253 square meters and represents a departure from traditional car showrooms by focusing exclusively on business negotiations rather than vehicle display. The design's most distinctive feature is its dramatic ceiling installation comprising 30 wooden louvers, each approximately 3 meters in length, suspended in an elegant arch formation, creating a dynamic visual focal point that defines the space's character. The interior employs a refined color palette of black, white, and wood brown, with the ceiling primarily finished in black paint to establish a sophisticated atmosphere. The exterior facade features expansive glass sashes that maximize visibility and create a seamless connection between interior and exterior spaces, while the high ceilings contribute to an atmosphere of openness and grandeur. The space is thoughtfully segmented into various meeting areas, offering diverse seating options including circular sofa arrangements at high tables, box tables, and counter seating, each designed to provide optimal comfort and privacy for high-end clientele. This project, completed between March and May 2020, was recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its excellence in spatial design, material selection, and innovative approach to luxury retail environments. The design successfully integrates functional requirements with aesthetic excellence through its careful attention to lighting design, including strategic use of indirect illumination, and its sophisticated material palette featuring tiles, wallpaper, and wood flooring, all working in harmony to create an environment that enhances the luxury car sales experience.
