Audemars Piguet Musee AtelierAudemars Piguet Musee AtelierAudemars Piguet Musee Atelier is an innovative architectural and exhibition space masterpiece located in Le Brassus, Switzerland, featuring a sophisticated glass spiral structure that harmoniously extends from a historic building dating back to 1875. This Gold A' Design Award-winning interior space, designed by Atelier Brueckner, spans 1,100 square meters and represents a groundbreaking approach to horological exhibition design. The museum's distinctive spiral architecture creates a seamless journey through time, where visitors experience watchmaking heritage through a meticulously composed narrative featuring crescendos, climaxes, and contemplative moments. The exhibition space employs sophisticated design elements including sculptures, automata, and kinetic installations that rhythm the visitor experience, while optically connecting to the surrounding landscape. The interior design demonstrates exceptional attention to detail through flowing transitions that change with natural light and seasons, creating an ever-evolving spectacle of reflections and shadows that embody the passage of time. At the spiral's heart, the exhibition showcases horological complications through mechanical installations, with eight exceptional timepieces surrounding the centerpiece Universelle. The scenography, completed in 2020, presents a comprehensive journey through watchmaking evolution, from historical origins to contemporary innovations, employing premium materials and precise craftsmanship that mirror the values of haute horlogerie. This architectural marvel, designed by Wassim Melki and Sungha Kim, successfully translates the meticulous precision of fine watchmaking into spatial design, creating an immersive experience that connects past, present, and future through thoughtful design language and innovative presentation techniques.
