Aurora Mobile Phone Disinfection BoxAurora Mobile Phone Disinfection BoxAurora Mobile Phone Disinfection Box is an innovative personal hygiene device designed to address the growing concern of bacterial contamination on mobile phones through a dual-approach sanitization system. This sophisticated device, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Safety Clothing and Personal Protective Equipment Design category, comprises two distinct models: N1 and M1, each offering unique sanitization capabilities. The N1 model features high-intensity ultraviolet rays delivered through 12 UVC LEDs, incorporating an automated lifting platform mechanism reminiscent of a toaster's functionality, which facilitates comprehensive disinfection of both front and back surfaces of mobile devices. The M1 model combines UV disinfection with physical cleaning through motor-driven flannelette components, supplemented by two UVC LEDs that sanitize both the phone and the cleaning elements. The design addresses several critical challenges in mobile phone hygiene, including the need for bilateral disinfection, automated operation, and maintenance accessibility. With dimensions of 210mm x 50mm x 125mm for the N1 model and 110mm x 110mm x 245mm for the M1 model, these units are engineered to accommodate phones ranging from 7mm to 14mm in thickness. The M1 model additionally offers wireless charging capabilities, making it a multifunctional solution for modern mobile device maintenance. Developed in response to heightened hygiene awareness during the global COVID-19 pandemic, this design demonstrates significant versatility in its application across domestic, public, and medical environments, representing a thoughtful integration of technological innovation with practical utility in personal protective equipment.
