Villa Mistral ResidentialVilla Mistral ResidentialVilla Mistral Residential is an innovative architectural masterpiece located in Sentosa Cove, Singapore, that revolutionizes residential design through its distinctive nautical-inspired aesthetic and structural elements. Named after the seasonal northwesterly Mediterranean wind, this exceptional residence defies conventional box-type architecture by incorporating a bold yacht-like design philosophy, featuring angular outward-leaning structural elements and angled glazed walls that create an immersive maritime experience both inside and out. Spanning four levels across an 880-square-meter site with a ground floor area of 680 square meters, the residence seamlessly integrates building design, interior architecture, decoration, furnishings, and artworks to create a cohesive oceanfront living environment. The structure encompasses an entertainment room in the basement, primary living spaces on the entry level, private quarters on the second floor, and a spectacular open-concept attic lounge with a roof terrace featuring a jacuzzi. The design excellence of Villa Mistral Residential has been recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its innovative approach to spatial design and seamless integration of nautical themes. The residence's distinctive combination of timber and concrete façade elements, punctuated by rhythmically placed windows of varying scales, creates a dynamic architectural composition that harmoniously blends with its waterfront setting while maintaining a strong individual character among neighboring properties. Completed in 2017, the project successfully overcomes various architectural challenges, including strict guidelines for pitched roofs and feng shui considerations, while delivering a sophisticated living space that celebrates its maritime context through thoughtful design elements and spatial planning.
