Majestic Land Exhibition CenterMajestic Land Exhibition CenterMajestic Land Exhibition Center is an innovative architectural and landscape design project spanning 39,000 square meters that seamlessly integrates exhibition spaces with natural surroundings in Gongyi, Zhenzhou Province of China. Completed in February 2020, this Silver A' Design Award-winning project draws inspiration from Chinese contemporary poetry and demonstrates a harmonious blend of artificial and natural elements. The design features a sophisticated four-layer platform landscape that maximizes static water surfaces, creating an infinite horizon effect where water appears to extend boundlessly into the surrounding territory. The center's architectural composition includes a distinctive cube-box structure embedded into the mountainside, presenting contrasting facades - a hidden southern corner and an exposed northern face - that exemplify the delicate balance between human intervention and natural preservation. The project's innovative features include high-low scattered metal grilles, elegant GRC white ribbon detailing, and a transparent viewing platform offering panoramic mountain vistas. The landscape design incorporates sustainable elements through the creative reuse of natural mountain rocks and local materials, while the waterscape is thoughtfully bordered by distinctive red tiny stones sourced from the surrounding mountains. The center's design philosophy emphasizes the creation of intimate connections with local nature through diverse layers of mountain vegetation, continuous hills, and carefully curated plant clusters. The winding pathways, ornamental grasses, and strategic terrain modifications create an immersive journey that culminates in a sophisticated exhibition space where architecture, water features, and vegetation coexist in perfect harmony.
