Nero ApartmentNero ApartmentNero Apartment is an award-winning residential renovation project that exemplifies contemporary interior design excellence through the thoughtful merger of two separate apartments into a cohesive living space. Located in Chisinau, Moldova, this 260-square-meter residence, designed by Alexandru Zingaliuc and team, masterfully addresses the needs of a young family while incorporating sophisticated design elements that reflect the clients' lifestyle and artistic inclinations. The project's distinctive approach divides the space into two primary zones: a parents' area featuring a darker color palette with strategic light accents, and a child's area characterized by bright, warm wood tones and white plaster walls. The design's innovative spatial solution includes the strategic incorporation of existing structural elements into furniture pieces, while the deliberate exposure of the ceiling structure in the living area significantly enhances the interior volume. The apartment's material palette adheres to minimalist principles, primarily utilizing painted walls complemented by accent surfaces of ceramic and bronze metallic tiles, with varied wood finishes for floors and ceilings. Notable features include a specially designed wardrobe area catering to the fashion-conscious client and dedicated exhibition spaces for their art collection. The project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional space optimization and functional planning, allowing separate access to the child's area from the main entrance while maintaining the cohesive design language throughout the residence.
