Xijiu Silk Road Liquor PackagingXijiu Silk Road Liquor PackagingXijiu Silk Road Liquor Packaging is an innovative cultural packaging design that masterfully integrates traditional Chinese elements with contemporary aesthetics to commemorate the historical Silk Road trade route. Created by designer Hai Zhu, this sophisticated packaging solution features a polished porcelain bottle adorned with ten meticulously crafted porcelain paintings depicting significant landmarks along the ancient Silk Road. The design's distinctive elements include a gilt ribbon that traces the geographical route of the Silk Road around the bottle body, and a bottle cap inspired by imperial jade seals historically used for customs clearance. The packaging incorporates a faux leather box with bronze pins and a handle, featuring a double inner layer structure that allows for elegant display purposes. When opened, it reveals ten landmark scenes in cut painting form, creating an interactive experience that connects consumers with the rich cultural heritage of the Silk Road. The design employs various patterns and color schemes that reflect the vibrant hues of silk, while unique flower patterns symbolize cultural exchange and inheritance. This Silver A' Design Award-winning creation in the Packaging Design category demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in its dimensions of 53.5 mm x 22.5 mm x 32 mm, successfully combining functional efficiency with cultural storytelling. The project, developed in Chengdu and launched in Guizhou, represents a significant achievement in packaging design that not only preserves and promotes Chinese cultural heritage but also serves as a contemporary interpretation of historical trade routes and cross-cultural exchange.
