Wan Xiang Sheng Tea Packaging is an innovative and culturally significant tea packaging design that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of traditional Chinese Zen tea culture with contemporary design aesthetics. Created by designer Huang Feng, this sophisticated packaging solution draws inspiration from the renowned Wuyishan rock tea and its distinctive terroir. The design's most striking feature is its architectural form that ingeniously mimics the topography of Wuyi Mountain, creating a three-dimensional landscape that transforms into the silhouette of a meditating figure when viewed from an alternative angle. This dual visual narrative emphasizes the design's philosophical underpinning of perspective and mindfulness. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the packaging utilizes rock grain special paper for its hardcover gift box, enhanced through embossing, debossing, and hot stamping processes to authentically capture the texture and essence of the tea's mountainous origin. Measuring 285mm in width, 105mm in depth, and 105mm in height, the design incorporates thoughtfully considered typography derived from the rippling patterns of tea's surface, further reinforcing the connection between the product and its presentation. The packaging system accommodates four tea packets within two inner compartments, demonstrating both functional efficiency and aesthetic refinement.
