Rose Garden Detached VillaRose Garden Detached VillaRose Garden Detached Villa is an exemplary architectural and interior design project that masterfully integrates traditional Chinese Hui Style architecture with contemporary Italian design elements, completed in 2022 in Hangzhou. Located alongside the Fuchun River, this residential masterpiece draws inspiration from the renowned Chinese painting Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains, embodying the serene beauty of Jiangnan water towns through its thoughtful design elements. The villa's architectural composition features characteristic white walls and black tiles, complemented by innovative spatial solutions including an ingeniously designed atrium and mezzanine levels that address the region's hot-humid climate. The interior design showcases exceptional attention to detail, particularly evident in the custom-designed staircase, which was crafted through sophisticated processes of casting, forging, and welding to create a fluid, ripple-like aesthetic that extends to the second floor. The project's sophisticated approach to natural lighting is demonstrated through strategic removal of floor slabs around the staircase, creating an atrium that allows daylight to penetrate to the underground levels. The basement level features a remarkable banquet room with a mirrored ceiling incorporating water wave patterns, while the ground floor successfully merges oriental artistic elements with western minimalism. This harmonious fusion of Eastern and Western design principles earned the project a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, recognizing its outstanding achievement in spatial design and cultural integration. The villa's distinctive features include a courtyard pool with black and white mosaic tiles, carefully selected materials including mirror, metal, marble, veneer, and glass, and artistic water-themed installations that enhance the overall design narrative.
