Home 07 Interior is an exemplary residential interior design project that masterfully transforms a historic single-family apartment in southern Amsterdam, Netherlands, into a contemporary living space that harmoniously balances transparency, functionality, and aesthetic refinement. The 150-square-meter dwelling, originally characterized by staff quarters, double halls, and corridor-heavy architecture, has been reimagined into an open, light-filled environment that caters to a family of four while preserving the building's stately character. The design's innovative approach is particularly evident in its sophisticated kitchen solution, featuring floor-to-ceiling cabinets with laser-cut front panels finished in white, creating a dynamic interplay between open and closed storage elements while ingeniously incorporating integrated handles into the perforated pattern. A central atrium with open staircases serves as a dramatic architectural feature, channeling natural light from an expansive roof light into the living areas below, while a two-story wall clad in clear pine wood provides visual continuity between floors. The upper level houses a master bedroom adjacent to a luxurious bathroom, featuring structured tiles by Patricia Urquola complemented by glass and wooden cabinet elements.
