Oi1 For Candiasoil Olive Oil Packaging Design

oi1 for Candiasoil Olive oil packaging design is an innovative packaging solution that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of traditional olive oil heritage with contemporary design aesthetics. Created by Greek designer Ioanna Drakaki and her team, this sophisticated packaging design project encompasses two distinct variants: an organic line featuring a medical bottle-inspired dark brown glass container, and a premium line utilizing a clear Dorica bottle housed within a cylindrical protective enclosure. The design, which earned a Golden A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in both its functional and aesthetic elements. The organic variant's dark brown glass serves dual purposes - paying homage to historical medical bottles while providing optimal protection for the olive oil's nutritional properties. The premium version's clear Dorica bottle, encased in a cylindrical container, allows consumers to appreciate the oil's color while maintaining protection from harmful light exposure. The design employs innovative printing techniques, utilizing transparent self-adhesive labels mounted on 500ml glass bottles, creating a seamless visual integration between the container and its branding elements. The dimensional specifications were meticulously considered, with the premium version standing at 29 cm in height and 6 cm in depth, while the organic variant measures 22 cm in height and 8 cm in depth, housed within a 29 cm high, 7 cm deep cylindrical packaging. This award-winning design successfully combines practical functionality with aesthetic refinement, representing a significant achievement in packaging design that enhances the product's market presence while maintaining its cultural heritage and premium positioning.
