Located in Hong Kong, this 3,800-square-foot residence, designed by Michael Liu, exemplifies contemporary architectural innovation through its seamless blend of functionality and aesthetic refinement. The design philosophy centers on creating a cohesive living environment that caters to the resident's lifestyle preferences while maintaining elegant simplicity throughout all floors. Notable architectural features include a custom-designed seven-foot teakwood door at the lower ground level, full-height sliding and folding glass doors in the living area that integrate the interior with an infinity pool and panoramic sea views, and a state-of-the-art professional studio equipped with 9.2 surround sound and a 150-inch acoustically transparent screen. The residence incorporates innovative technological solutions, such as electric-frosted glass for privacy control and an energy-efficient S-shaped copper hose system for floor heating in the bathrooms. Each floor serves a distinct purpose: from the ground floor's entertainment spaces to the specialized music studio, private quarters with luxurious amenities, and a secluded study in the attic. The project, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in its material selection, including deep-gray granite, white marble, and strategic use of glass partitions to create visual continuity and spatial expansion.
