Chongqing Mountain And City Sales Office Sales OfficeChongqing Mountain And City Sales Office Sales OfficeChongqing Mountain and City Sales Office Sales Office is an innovative architectural interior design project completed in December 2011, located in Chongqing, China, spanning an impressive 1600 square meters. This Golden A' Design Award-winning project masterfully integrates the geographical context of Chongqing's mountainous landscape into its contemporary design language. The space is characterized by its bold interpretation of mountainous topography, expressed through angular geometries and sophisticated material applications. The design's primary conceptual framework draws inspiration from the surrounding Nanshan District valley, translating the natural mountainous environment into an abstract, modern architectural vocabulary. The interior features distinctive triangular patterns in grey marble flooring, complemented by dramatic slanted walls and irregularly shaped reception counters that echo the mountain motif. A particularly innovative element is the implementation of suspended LED lighting systems that simulate rainfall in a valley, creating a dynamic interplay between the harsh angular architecture and soft, natural elements. The circulation between floors is conceived as a cave-like passage, further reinforcing the geological narrative. The material palette is deliberately restrained, primarily utilizing grey tones accented by pale champagne gold, marble, glass, and stainless steel, creating a sophisticated and cohesive aesthetic. The project demonstrates exceptional spatial innovation through its challenging execution of irregular forms, which required extensive three-dimensional modeling to achieve precise implementation. This sales office represents a significant achievement in commercial interior design, successfully balancing dramatic architectural expression with functional requirements while creating an immersive environment that resonates with its geographical context. The project was recognized with the Golden A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its outstanding contribution to innovative spatial design and its sophisticated interpretation of natural elements in a commercial context.
