Basf Corporate RenewedBasf Corporate RenewedBasf Corporate Renewed is an innovative corporate architectural project completed in 2011, representing a significant achievement in sustainable office design and workplace functionality. Located in Mexico City's Colonia Ciudad de los Deportes district, this comprehensive office development encompasses a ground floor of 1,315 square meters and six additional levels, each standard floor measuring approximately 942 square meters. The distinctive design, created by renowned architect Juan Carlos Baumgartner and his team, features three differently-oriented squares unified by a central core, incorporating advanced sustainable design principles and energy-efficient solutions. The project's sophisticated program includes a variety of specialized spaces: a welcoming lobby, flexible open and private offices, state-of-the-art meeting facilities, dining areas, casual meeting zones, an auditorium, and essential support areas. Notable features include a ground-floor showroom with advanced projection capabilities, an executive dining area with adaptable configurations, and informal meeting spaces themed uniquely for each floor. The design emphasizes sustainability through various innovative features such as water-saving equipment, a water treatment plant for air conditioning systems, and carefully selected materials including reticular carpeting for acoustic benefits. The façade incorporates Solarban 70 glass and strategic sunshades to optimize energy efficiency, while the interior spaces feature sophisticated lighting solutions including randomly suspended luminaires at varying heights. The project, which won the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, exemplifies excellence in corporate architecture through its harmonious blend of functionality, sustainability, and aesthetic appeal. The design's commitment to environmental responsibility is evident in its pursuit of LEED certification, incorporating maximum parameters of energy efficiency and sustainable practices throughout the building's design and operation.
