From The Future Showroom, RetailFrom The Future Showroom, RetailFrom The Future Showroom, Retail is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the fusion of industrial manufacturing aesthetics with contemporary retail space design. Created by Turkish architect Ayhan Güneri, this 120-square-meter showroom space draws inspiration from injection molding technology, reflecting the manufacturing process of the sports footwear it displays. The design's distinctive features include an architecturally striking ceiling with oblique and circular forms, realized through advanced barrisol and LED lighting systems, converging towards a central focal point where four specialized display modules showcase different product lines. The space's technological narrative is reinforced through strategic material choices, including epoxy-cracked flooring treatments and RAL applications that create a cohesive chronological progression. The design incorporates contrasting elements, such as coarse sewing trails on the ceiling that soften the technological aesthetic while simultaneously referencing the handcrafted aspects of footwear production. Custom graphic design elements, applied through inkjet printing on display module backgrounds, complete the visual narrative. This Silver A' Design Award-winning project, completed in 2012, demonstrates exceptional spatial organization and technological integration, creating an immersive retail environment that effectively communicates both the technical precision and artisanal aspects of contemporary footwear manufacturing.
